Who we are
Valor Collective is a UK-based supplier of Brazilian natural stone (quartzite and granite), trading from London, United Kingdom. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our website and our advertising, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
What data we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you properly:
Name, company, email address and telephone number — when you contact us through this website or by email or phone.
Material of interest, approximate quantities and your message — so we can give you accurate availability and pricing.
Enquiry details submitted through our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Instant Form ads — the same details listed above, sent to us directly by Meta when you submit the form.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising, and we do not collect payment details through this website — purchases are arranged personally.
Why we collect it
To respond to your trade, product or availability enquiries.
To provide pricing, slab dimensions and availability information you have asked for.
To arrange inspections, viewings and collection of material.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries — we only use your details for the purpose you gave them to us.
Sharing your data
We never sell your personal data.
We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
The only exception is where it is strictly necessary to fulfil your enquiry — for example, sharing your contact details with a haulage or collection partner you have asked us to arrange, or with our website/email providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
Enquiry forms submitted via Meta are collected by Meta Platforms Ireland under their own privacy terms and passed to us; we have no control over Meta's processing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, in case you return to the collection. If a purchase takes place, related records are kept for up to 6 years where required for tax and accounting purposes. After that, your details are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to:
— tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
— correct anything inaccurate;
— delete your details;
— stop using your details for contact.
Just email hello@valorcollective.co.uk and we will action it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
